reiserfsprogs software package provides User-level tools for ReiserFS filesystems, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install reiserfsprogs
reiserfsprogs is installed in your system.
Make ensure the reiserfsprogs package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep reiserfsprogs *
You will get with reiserfsprogs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
